Juliet Davenport, Chief Executive Officer


Juliet is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Good Energy – a renewable energy company with a mission to power a greener, cleaner future together with its customers.

Juliet has continuously led innovation in the energy sector and in 2013 she was awarded an OBE for services to renewables. In June 2015 Juliet was appointed to the board of the Natural Environment Research Council and most recently to the board of Innovate UK. Juliet has various scholastic credentials with academic organisations, including University of Wales, Imperial College, Bristol University, Birkbeck and LSE, where she has various roles and accolades, with the ambition of influencing the next generation to think about the energy transition and our low carbon future.

Juliet sits on the advisory boards for Aurora, Oxford Energy and is a member of the Powerful Women’s Energy Leaders Coalition.

Juliet is passionate about creating a business that does good; one that can deliver the needs of society in a purposeful way.  As part of this vision, she is working with the British Academy’s Future of the Corporation project, thinking about a better future.

Meet Juliet Davenport

Stephen Rosser, General Counsel and Company Secretary


Stephen was appointed in January 2015. He has overall responsibility for legal, risk, regulatory, compliance and secretariat activities across the group and for co-ordinating the day-to-day operation of Good Energy Group Plc’s Board.

Stephen joined Good Energy from Centrica Plc where he held roles as Head of Legal and, latterly, Legal Director for a variety of operating divisions. Stephen is a qualified solicitor and practiced as a corporate lawyer with Eversheds LLP until 2010.

David Ivell, Chief Technology Officer


David joined Good Energy in June 2018.

David was Chief Information Officer at The Prince’s Trust where he was responsible for technology transformation. David also held similar posts at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, the British Film Institute and Credit Suisse.

David’s expertise will help to deliver Good Energy’s new digital strategy, driving the investment into new technologies and systems to improve our digital products and services, operating systems and the customer experience.

Rupert Sanderson, Finance Director


Rupert joined Good Energy in February 2017.

Rupert has a wealth of experience from the energy and support services sectors holding senior financial and commercial positions at Centrica, British Gas, Serco and Avis Europe. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Rupert has also supported smaller business services companies through periods of significant development and growth which will be particularly valuable as Good Energy extends its residential and business supply and services propositions.

Paul Tavener, Interim Marketing Director


Paul joined Good Energy in May 2018.

Paul has a wealth of experience from the retail sector, most recently in his role as Group Brand Director at WHSmith. Paul led the team who launched Funky Pigeon to the UK market. Previously, Paul was Head of Marketing at Sainsburys where he delivered the ‘Try Something New Today’ campaign.

Paul brings his extensive customer marketing experience to develop the Good Energy brand and to develop customer focused campaigns, which will be crucial in delivering our customer and technology focused strategy.

Randall Bowen, Sales and Commercial Director


Randall Bowen joined Good Energy in April 2017.

Randall is responsible for all Sales and Commercial activities within Good Energy, including energy supply, Feed In Tariff and the company’s newest ventures in battery storage and EV charging.

Having worked in the energy industry for over a decade at companies including British Gas, Randall brings his wealth of commercial experience to lead Good Energy to grow and compete in profitability.

Sarah Morgan, Customer Services Director


Sarah joined Good Energy in June 2018.

Sarah comes to Good Energy from OVO, where she was Head of Customer Operations. Before that, Sarah was part of the team that transformed the digital customer experience at ASOS.

Sarah brings her digital and customer expertise to support Good Energy and will focus on delivering a consistently, high level of customer service and experience for both our B2C and B2B businesses in order to build long term engagement and trust with our customers.

Françoise Woodward, People and Culture Director


Françoise joined Good Energy in June 2014 with responsibility for human resources and organisation development, including training and facilities. Having begun her career with Marks & Spencer plc, she has over 20 years multi sector industry experience including senior human resources roles within the Coca-Cola Company, Dyson and EDF Energy.

Françoise is a graduate from Oxford University and a Chartered Member of the Institute for Personnel and Development.
